The
Italian Lakes had been on our agenda for several years, but it was not
until 2000 that we made it. Our choice of resort, Bardolino on Lake Garda,
and the Hotel, the Parc Gritti, were the result of much Internet research.
Things worked well, Bardolino being a delightful town, and an excellent
base for touring.

Our Holiday ended on Wednesday, 27th September 2000. A coach transfer to Verona Airport,
an on time flight back to Birmingham, and we were home by early afternoon.
The Holiday had been a great success thanks to an excellent choice of
resort and hotel. The flights and travel arrangements were punctual and
stress free. And Lake Garda in general, and Bardolino in particular, were
a delight. The Ingham's Holiday Rep, Sventlana, was excellent, and we found the Italians to be likeable and friendly. It was certainly
one of our best holidays, and so Lake Garda remains on the agenda for
the future.
