A project for 2007 was to walk the Birmingham Canals Navigation from
Birmingham to Wolverhampton, split perhaps into three separate sections.
This the first walk, in March, which started at the Gas Street basin,
Birmingham, and went as far as Winson Green. For much of this section,
the canal runs close to the Birmingham to Wolverhampton Railway
line. The first group of photos show the outward walk, and the second group show the return. |
