Canals have always been a source of fascination. Wherever I have lived, there has always been a Canal close by. And as a young lad, I fell into the closed Dudley no 2 canal at Lapal on more than one occasion. 60 years on, they are still a source of great enjoyment, whether it be walking, watching the wildlife, or photographing the boats.
