This was our second
Holiday on Lake Garda. Our first, in 2000 at BARDOLINO was a great
success, so in 2005 we decided on a week at GARDA, two miles further up the
Lake. The weather was reasonable, though mixed. 3 Sunny days, 3 Hazy
days, and one day of rain. Our Hotel, The Terminus, was not particularly
good, and did not compare well with Hotel Gritti at Bardelino, at which
we stayed in 2000. And the flights, courtesy of Thomson Holidays
Aircraft, were uncomfortable. Even more uncomfortable was the Airport
experience at Verona, with a long delay awaiting baggage on the outward
fight, and total chaos on the return. |
