Snowdonia

 
The Photos in the first section below are all of Bedgellert. The village lies to the south of  Snowdon where the Rivers Glaslyn and Colwyn unite, and is famous for the story of the hound Gelert that saved Llewelyn from a wolf. The dog's grave is close to the River Glaslyn. About a mile from the village is the Sygun Copper Mine.

The Photos in the first row below are of  Llanberis, and include the Padarn Country Park, two views of Llanberis Lake, and lastly, some colour in the main street.  The Snowdon Mountain Railway is close by, as is the Llanberis Lake Railway. An added attraction is the Electric Mountain. The whole area is popular for outdoor activities. 

 Those in the second and third rows are of Llyn Dinas and Llyn Gwynant. These two delightful Lakes are situated between Bedgellert and Capel Curig.
