Anglesey and the North Wales Coast

The first group of photos below date from 2002 to 2003, and were taken during visits to Beaumaris and  Red Wharf  Bay. In both instances a fine sunny morning became a dull, cloudy afternoon.  The final photo is a 2004 replacement when things worked in reverse. The early afternoon cloud gave way to bright blue skies.

A visit to Newborough sands in May 2004 started with blue skies everywhere, except over Anglesey, which was mainly cloud. But by mid afternoon it was all sun, and the photos below were the result.

The first photo, below, is the station sign at Llanfair......goch, and the next is of the Menai Straits. The following six photos cover views of and around   Caernarfon, and date mainly  from 2002, when I was lucky with the sun.

The first four Llandudno photos below were taken in the Autumn of 2003. My journey there  by rail via the Conwy valley, was made in bright sunshine, which vanished the moment I arrived.  So I tried again in September 2004, and the remaining photos were the result.
