Garda

 

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy, and stretches from Sirmione at the south, to Riva del Garda in the north.

Sirmione is busy town, with a castle and a fine beach. .

Limone is a village at the north western end of the lake.. It has a busy harbour, a variety of shops and restaurants, and several hotels. Population is 1,000 approx.

Riva del Garda is a busy town, population 15,000, at the north end of the lake, very popular with tourists and holidaymakers.

Malcesine is on the eastern shoreline of Lake Garda, at the foot of Monte Baldo. It has narrow cobbled streets and a quaint harbour.
