Sorrento & Naples
 

SORRENTO

We travelled from Naples to Sorrento by Coach, directly from Naples Harbour. Sorrento is situated on a plane, overlooking the Bay of Naples. It is an old  but pretty town with a harbour and ferry services to nearby towns, Sorrento is noted for it's fine architecture, and many fine Restaurants, Cafes, and Shops are to be found in it's streets and passages.

 
   
   
   
   
   

NAPLES
NAPLES is the Capital of Campania, and is the largest city in Southern Italy. It is a vibrant city, though considered to be polluted. We did not visit the City, though we drove through it by coach. At the time of our visit, there was a strike by refuse collectors, and many streets were strewn with rubbish.
